Privacy
Nothing / Ascetic Writer is an app for writing ideas down in an ascetic way, without distractions.
Your notes
Your notes, folders and images are stored on your devices. If iCloud is turned on, they sync through your own private iCloud database, which only you can access. We never see them, and we have no server that could.
Images
Images you add to a note are kept with that note. Location data is removed from every image before it is saved, and large images are resized on your device. They never leave your devices except through your own iCloud.
Links
Links in your notes are only opened when you open them. The app does not fetch previews or contact any website on its own.
Data we collect
None. There is no account, no analytics SDK and no trackers of any kind.
Purchases
Nothing Pro is bought through the App Store, as a one-time purchase or a yearly subscription. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether Pro is unlocked. We never receive your name, Apple ID or payment details.
Analytics
We only see the aggregate statistics App Store Connect provides, such as downloads, product page views and crash reports from people who choose to share them with developers.
This website
nothing.yaosamo.com counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify or follow you across sites; we only see totals such as visits per page, referring sites and countries. The app itself contains no analytics.
Children
Nothing collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
